VIQUA ARROS Class B: EUREk expertise

ARROS -V models are certified to NSF/ANSI 55 Class B for supplemental bactericidal treatment of disinfected water already considered acceptable for drinking.

Models and performance

The manual table lists 6.4, 9.4 and 12.9 US gpm at 16 mJ/cm² and 70% UVT, or 24.2, 35.58 and 48.8 L/min. Class B models are not intended to treat contaminated water. EUREk checks whether this class fits your water source.

Installation and maintenance

UV targets microorganisms and does not remove dissolved salts or chemical contaminants. Performance depends on the model, dose, flow and water quality. The lamp, sleeve and prefilters must be maintained according to the applicable manual. UV treatment alone does not establish that water is safe to drink.
