VIQUA ARROS: EUREk expertise

ARROS systems treat water with ultraviolet light at the household point of entry. Their compact configuration supports installation and access to the lamp and sleeve assembly.

Models and performance

At 30 mJ/cm² and 95% UVT, the manual lists 9, 15 and 22 US gpm, or 34.1, 56.8 and 83.3 L/min. At 40 mJ/cm² and 95% UVT, flows are 7, 12 and 16 US gpm. These dose ratings do not constitute NSF certification of the standard system.

Installation and maintenance

UV targets microorganisms and does not remove dissolved salts or chemical contaminants. Performance depends on the model, dose, flow and water quality. The lamp, sleeve and prefilters must be maintained according to the applicable manual. UV treatment alone does not establish that water is safe to drink.
